When a person recognized that his or her success had come by dishonest means, God called for compensation to make up for the loss—evidence of true repentance.
One of the most practical of all sacrifices, the reparation offering teaches us today that when we have wronged someone, we should try to make it right before coming to worship God—a principle Jesus Himself taught (Matt. 5:23-24).
