What it Means to Take God’s Name in Vain [Podcast]

In a scrap one day in the camp, a man cussed God and was then put to death. By such a severe penalty God revealed the timeless truth that His name is holy, for a name represents the person.

While the church today may not stone blasphemers, God’s people should still speak and live as if God’s reputation is at stake.

With such a perspective, our praying in Jesus’ name, our remembering all will bow at Jesus’ name, and our words “hallowed be Thy name” take on greater significance.
