Sometimes we need a vivid example of why trusting God is the best plan. Jeremiah reveals the importance of trusting in the Lord rather than in mankind—or even in our own deceitful hearts. The one who trusts in the Lord will have a productive life—even in hard times. But the one who ignores the Lord in the end will suffer the effects of a fool. This passage encourages us to trust.
